Yes, we get your drift :)
He didn't know what to do with "it," and he didn't get Eve to try anything...
They weren't real people. The story of them is a creation MYTH. A fable, a fictional story meant to illustrate a point. Not real.
Humans have been around and happily having sex for many hundreds of thousands of years before the time the bible puts these mythical first-humans on the scene :)
Peace.

It begins with an intelligent creator who has a purpose for life. Adam and Eve were literally made for each other and God has placed in the heart of every person the things we need to survive including intimate relationships and created our bodies (male and female) for each other. Genesis 2:23, 24 " And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man." Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become on flesh. "

SEx. if that is what you mean is instinctive. IT has animal drive. Eating, drinking, sex and basic things are natural. The higher intelligence and conscience and spirit gives us the responsibility to do what is right. (It seperates us from wild animals)

seems pretty simple, natural instinct for people to want to feel closer. When he became aroused, and she discovered that she was becoming aroused "down there".... they just figured it out
