how is the schedule when you get into med school?

I am really interested in finding everything i can about med school, cause I think I want to go into the field. I was wondering if any med students on here, or doctors or people who are doing pre-med could give me an insight on how the schedule of a med student can be while they are in med school. Like do they have weekends and summers off , or holidays. And i think they have classes from mon-friday, may hours but im not sure. Any insight on this would help. Thanks

My sister is in Vet school, and she has no life. She is her last semester and is on-call almost every weekend. She gets two weeks off a year, one she picks and the other she gets chosen for her. Oh, but she also gets Spring Break and Christmas off...but she is on call some of that time, too.
