He has suggested he is.
His wife is and their child is and whilst it's true he has never come out with a definitive statement (and frankly why should he) the fact that he's deicded that his child should be Muslim would suggest he may have leanings that way.
Also, it would in no way impinge on his football career. His team mate Kolo Toure (amongst many footballers) is a devout Muslim and although I don't know enough to talk in detail Kolo has said in interviews how his religion allows him to make allowances for his job (such as taking nourishment during the day during Ramadam)

I don't think he is - he might have a Moroccan wife but she may have converted to Christiainity. Also if he had converted he would have gained a Muslim name, but I cannot find anywhere that says he has one.

i would go by the name. it's dutch, so i doubt that he's muslim. hey as long as arsenal dont get too good, or he comes over to play for munited, i dont really care.
