How do I get back things that been delete on my computer. I am not that computer smart so please explain in detail.

If the files are still in the trash folder you have no problem. Click on the trash folder (on your desktop) and restore the files you want to keep.
If the files are not in your trash folder you need to use a special file recovery software e.g. http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm
It works good as long as no new files have overwritten the old ones.

It all depends on what kind of things got deleted. If it was a program you will need a new copy of that. But if its just a shortcut to a program or a file like word processor it will be stored in the recycle bin if that's the case open your recycle bin and click restore in the recycle bin. Well it depends on what you need to get back Music and Documents that have been deleted can be found in the recycling bin on your desktop.To retrive those you have to go to the recycling bin and find it.Then click it and on the side window it should say restore document.If it doesnt click on want you want and then click file it should say restore document up there too

Do you deleted it from recycle bin too? if yes you lose it. but some software could makes it. try tuneup utilities. TU priorly cleans the registry, but it has Undelete program too. If you dont have such software, try not to fill your HD with any data, or your deleted data will replaced by newer data and "completly deleted"

check the recycle bin on your PC for items that might have been deleted. if they aren't in there, then they are gone.
