First I would report them to your local phone company. They can be raced by the police if they are threatening. If you suspect they are coming from the same person you could try blowing a whistle into the phone. Apparently this is very annoying. You can also get a phone with caller ID so you can see who is calling and don't answer calls coming from unknown name unknown number. You should also keep a detailed record of the date, time, and what was said during the calls in the event it becomes necessary to contact the police.
Good luck

Your phone provider can trace the calls, but legally, they cannot give you the phone number. If it remains a problem, I'm sure they will work with you to report the problem.
Some time ago I had a prank phone call and I dialed 611 to be connected to my service provider. They traced the call and told me the city the call came from and that it was from another mobile number. That was enough information for me to know my sister was behind the call. Fortunately for me it was all in good fun!

Save the number on your phone and either look the number up in the phone book to find the address then talk to the police, or try to beat them in their own and constently send prank phone calls back to them.

i had the same problem . I contacted the police and they told me the best thing to do is change your Mobile number. Contact the police and they will give you a case number and you will have it done free of charge. If you cannot produce a case number you have to pay for it. Do it, you will not be sorry, it is so nice having my phone ring all day long . Good luck to you.:)))

If the call was made from a registered user (e.g. from home or from someone's mobile) it can be traced. Depending on the laws in your state, you could apply for an injunction to stop the culprit from making these calls.
Approach your local law enforcement agency for advice.

Your cell company should be able to track those down. Call and File a complaint with them because they can see where the number is coming from. Go from there.

Notify the police, they can find out who it is. On a land-line BT would do it for you, they would intercept all your calls and ask the caller for their name etc. This usually stops them. But with a mobile, you would have to get in touch with the police.

police may be able to trace them if they are registered
but i don't think they will bother that much
because they wont look at it as being very serious
best thing to do is bar all withheld numbers
