I just answered this question somewhere else so forgive me if I cut and paste...

"Take care of your glandular and internal organ systems! Especially the Pineal and the Liver. Meditation, proper balanced nutrition and exercise for optimum health and a better more rounded kind of intelligence.

Esoteric teachings and an openness and willingness to learn the things that the brain can't comprehend or categorize through the 5 human senses without help... Spiritual health is important too.

Also, intentional work on the human Ego. Bringing it into a deliberate place of submission to the higher sensory fields of the intellect. If the Ego is not brought into a deliberate submissive state, (usually through meditation) you will never achieve enlightenment or achieve access to those hidden parts of the brain. The Ego is in place to block you from that state... It is our lifes purpose really to tame the monster within us... For Spirit to recognize itself in human and for humanity to see itself as spirit. All in one body, indivisual and yet joined in all of humanity as a catalyst for the harmony of both.

The Ego... would, on it's own, not ever allow such a thing to happen as it loves and thrives within the base and lower fields of understanding. It is, when unchecked and left to run things, like a super computer which has learned how to feel, think, and manipulate its environment through open ended reason. Without intention and purposeful guidance, It is, as most people are in a state of controlled chaos, feeding off of rather than joining with humanity and living in peace and unity."

This is the reason we are here and the question that I answered with this was...

"How do we use the part of the brain that is supposed to be dormant?"

its life, nothing more, nothing less. we are a nanosecond in the life of the planet. a meaningless speck of dust alive for such a small time. to be born and then to die as is every plant and animal on the earth. we have no reason but to die. it is our only destiny, to give back to mother earth what we have taken away.

Why shouldn't we be here? If we weren't here, you wouldn't be able to wonder why you are here.
