it can be anywhere between 9-16. But there is no "right" time for you to get your period. It will come when your body is ready. If u don't get your period by the time you are 17 you should go and see a doctor. There is this website called www.beinggirl.com and www.girlspace.com, you should go there. (hint) if you get your discharge that is a big sign that your period is coming!!!!

You should start between about 10 and anywhere up to about 16-17! After that, if you still havent had one that you should just go for a quick checkup. Its all relative to the person and your environment, for example, there were some shocking cases of girls starting as young as 3 because of excess hormones in the food they eat... But ofcourse, i very much doubt that that will be the normal case for ANYBODY! I was very normal and started at 13! It all depends really!

It varies between girls, but it should average around 12 or 13. If you already 18 and have not gotten your period I recommend you go to the doctor.
