The biggest growth areas right now are in electronics and getting the new Toyota plant up and running. There should be significant increases in the truck and rail traffic associated with the the plant and its 20+ suppliers.

San Antonio is a wonderful city. Lots of ethnic diversity, places to visit and things to do. Of course it is also the home of the Spurs.

Major employers include USAA, Valero and Toyota.

Job opportunities are similar to other metropolitan areas. Hotel/Service Industry, Clerical/Administrative, Financial & Health Care etc.

MySA.com is the site for the area newspaper's classified. You can see a sample of local job postings there.

Fill in the required info to get registered in Texas and then the web site will compare it's listing of jobs to your husband's education and work experience. Make sure you specify "San Antonio" when asked what area you're interested in working.
