Yes.
Given the current social climate, I would much more wish to be monogamous than polyamorous. I tried to be monogamous for a very long time. It just wasn't who I was.
Besides, polyamory is damned hard.
That said, I get a tremendous amount from being polyamorous. As an alternative to cheating, there is no question, honesty and openess are wonderful.

I'm not polyamorous but if I was I imagine I weren't enjoy it much. All my husbends would be jealous of eachother and I don't think I could take the stress of that.

Like irishinjun2005 said, you have to learn to live with who you are. You can't be something you are not, you can try, but it is very likely that if you succeed you'd turn into a very unhappy person, so, that wouldn't be much of a success.
If you love to love more than one person, if you must have relations with more than one person, that is your problem, learn to live with it and don't tell anyone, it is not acceptable.
It is better to live with a secret (it is not an illegal one) than to try to live as someone else.
