I know the critics panned it when it came out, but I FINALLY got a copy of "WATERWORLD" with Kevin Costner on DVD and can stop worrying about my taped copy going bad.

I think it's a great movie. I watch it about twice a year, and every time I do, I see some little detail I missed before. The plot line is great, the acting is also. Not alot of special effects, but what they do have is really eye popping. I love the part when he pulls the lever and the rigging for the boat just comes flying out.

If you got the time, and don't mind the gore and other little nasty bits, this is one great movie. (It is a long one. I think that is one reason the critics didn't like it. But the story is complete, and it would not have been as good as a shorter film.) Enjoy!

Go see "Night At The Museum." It's fun, light and uplifting, with a rare combination of a good story, fun characters and not a single curse word or drop of blood in the entire thing! Also, Carla Gugino is charming as a shy historian, and Robin Williams shines as a mannequin of Teddy Roosevelt. Highly recommended. Best movie in a long time.

The Big Lebowski of course.
However, if you are the romantic type, then anything with "clouds" or "notebook" in the title. Maybe with Keanu in it. Oh, it depresses me even thinking about it. Just get the Big Lebowski.
