i have a dell pc (dimension 5150), i have just bought a lexmark all in one x5470 printer. I have asked questions on this site recently cos i have had so much trouble in getting it to work. I have now got to the bottom of the problem, the printer will only work if the MacFee is completely unistalled. Even reloading Macfee after the printer leaves the printer not working, leaving me open to viruses etc. Has anyone any idea how to get around this, i have contacted Lexmark and they dont know !

If you're having so much trouble with McAfee, why not go for another Anti-virus program. The one below is AVG v7.5.4, and the link is for the free version.

you have to get rid of macfee . theres a load of of other antivirus soft ware thats just as good and some of its free , just make sure that when you remove and add antivirus programs you do it off line other wise viruses will invade your computer the second you connect !
