Love is an enigma. It can do harm and good at the same time. Love is a bond between humans, an emotion of the highest order, and a much sought after feeling. It is a yearning for someone or something. A feeling of appreciation and a source of comfort. It can be a passion so intense that it drives people to war, yet at the same time it is often the reason for avoiding any form of war. Yet the only validation we have of love being real is our own perception of it, making it all the more fascinating. The only thing that transcends this, in my mind, is religion. God is love.

It's likelyto be, or should be the most terminal addiction one can have.
It's irrational, while being medicinal.
It can be destructive while being instructive, creative, insistent, complacent, renewable as a resourse on its course.
It needs no defining, and verbalizing it in any way, is only to express "feelings" we may not otherwise be able to articulate.
I guess PEACE might fit in the volumes of words created to explore it, and its effects and affects, but PEACE doesn't strictly relate to LOVE. I want WORLD peace, but I don't want to, nor do I have time to, LOVE "everyone"
To close, I offer this, with no real offense meant. ANYONE who has to ask,,, doesn't get it.

â¥What Is Love?
To love very much is to love inadequately; we love-that
is all. Love cannot be modified without being nullified.
Love is a short word but it contains everything. Love
means the body, the soul, the life, the entire being. We feel
love as we feel the warmth of our blood, we breath love
as we breath the air, we hold it in ourselves as we hold
our thoughts. Nothing more exists for us. Love is not a
word; it is a wordless state indicated by four letters.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
