My suggestion was also for an ad in your local newspaper.
---
My church runs a scrapbooking night once a month (open to anyone, not just people who attend the church), and a couple of the ladies who attend are CM reps. They are introduced to all new members, so if we do want to buy CM, all we need to do is talk to them on the night. They bring along their samples and catalogues for us to look at, and it's great because we can just place an order with them on the night if we wanted to. They don't pressure anyone, or do a demonstration or anything like that. They're just simply available. Maybe you could do something similar?
Each night we meet, the organisers also have several door prizes, which are sometimes donated by the reps, which is also another good idea if you can afford it, or have some older samples to get rid of. Their names are mentioned as the people who donated the prizes (which reminds the rest of us that they're reps).
So, maybe in addition to putting an ad in the paper yourself, it might be a good idea to go through the paper to see any groups you might be able to attend, or get involved in? Also, check your local noticeboards for the same, as not everyone will advertise in the paper.
Hope this helps.

Try running adds in your local newspaper or creating a web page. You also need to get your name and number in the Yellow Pages so it will be easier for people who are interested to find you. Another thing you could try is hosting a class. Have everyone you know invite everyone they know to come to your class. They may see some of the products you are using and want to buy them for themselves. Another good idea would be to make up some gift baskets and advertise them. I would love to get a scrapbooking basket for a gift!!
Hey! How about you go take a class on scrapbooking?! You could meet a lot of people that way!!

If you have the gift of gab talk to everyone you see. Print of business cards to have to give people that you talk to also try to get there name and phone numbers if they give it to you then make sure to follow up because they are interested in talking to you. I also do a party plan business and we have a DVD that we can use for surveys it has doubles the leads we get now. I have never seen your catalog but I have bag with clear window on it so I can stick one of my catalogs in it and every one see it. if you live in a smaller town try making fliers and hanging up at laundry mat and places that have public board to use like that. Also if you have parades in your town you can hand out business cards there to. Hope these suggestions help you.

Go online and google: scrap booking, they have creative memories, close to my heart, and many more.. I went to one show and got hooked. I make cards.. and donate them to our church.
