Although bin Laden gloated publicly when 9-11 took place, he never actually took responsibility. Don't forget, he is friends & business partner w/ the Bush's, hence it's why they haven't tried very hard to find him.

bgood....the trouble is that the debunks sound even more improbable than the "theories".

Many of us already believe these theories to be true, thats why this country is so divided.

There is not a single 9/11 conspiracy theory that I find remotely plausible.

* The gov't shot down United 93. – That claim has been debunked so many times that repeating it only soils the memory of the heroes of the flight.

* The gov't was behind the attacks. – There are so many things wrong with this I don't know where to start. First, what possible reason would the US gov't have to kill 3000 of its own? Second, Bush is nowhere near smart enough to arrange it. Third, it would require so many agencies of the gov't working together that that alone makes it impossible, much less keeping it secret. Fifth, if 9/11 was an inside job, and the gov’t would have no qualms killing 3000 of its own to start a war, it wouldn’t hesitate to kill the conspiracy theorists. Besides, doesn't the fact that Osama admitted to it mean anything to anyone?

* The FDNY was ordered to implode the building. – Okay, the FDNY lost 343 good men and women because they were busy planting explosives with such perfect precision that the building imploded straight down. Does that make sense to anyone?

* The Zionists/Mossad/Israel was behind the attacks. 4000 Jews stayed home from work. – First, this was started by Hezbollah, which, before 9/11, led all terrorist orgs in number of Americans killed. Second, many Jews were among the dead and injured. I guess they missed the email. Third, many Christians and Muslims and others took the day off or were late. Did they get the email instead of the Jews? Or was it that 9/11/01 was primary day in New York State and some people of all religious backgrounds needed to work on campaigns that day?

* Mossad knew about the attacks beforehand. – This is true. Mossad, MI6, the CIA and FBI, and other intelligence agencies worldwide all knew something was going to happen. Unfortunately, no one knew what, when, how, where, or by whom.

Its not gona happen. Since I've seen pretty bad claims. Like the one about Tomahawk hitting Pentagon. The problem is that at first it might seem odd that initial hole on Pentagon wall is 20ft or so wide. But this is because the wall plane hit was reinforced concrete wall, planes can't penetrate this kind of structures. The plane's nose is pointed, so the hole it punched was relatively small and plane disintegrated.

Lets suppose Tomahawk cruise missile did hit Pentagon. It contains 1000lbs of explosives. I think it will leave a hole bigger than 20ft wide and it will leave giant bomb crater. So the claim is Tomahawk missile without explosives in its war head hit Pentagon. Some body plants shredded plane parts, landing gears, black box... And who knocked down light poles nearby high way and damaged several cars?

This Pentagon theory shows classic pseudo scientific/ad-hoc theories and there are many others like this one.

Lot of people point to official story as being unlikely, but they basically omitt some very crucial information. Too much 'cherry picking' goes on in those 911 theories. And highly ad-hoc meaning if one of the element in 911 conspiracy is falsified people simply dismiss it saying 'gov want you to think that'.

If they keep saying one should be critical of something people tells you why should you believe them out right?

There is just sea of information out there. Enough to make WMD case even though there were non. And enough to make 911 'truth' conspiracy theories.

Someone from 18th century might look at DVD player and not believe you if you tell him or her how it works. This seems to be whats happening with lot of people. We got something pretty complex and may not be easy to understand, but that doesn't mean easy answer(911 conspiracy) is right.

Not surprised, to many things didn't and don't add up i watched the loose change video and then the debunking video and i felt even less convinced that it wasn't a inside job after watching it.
Its tower #7 that gets me?
Well its a free world and a free country, everyone can make there own judgment call on what they want to believe.
And sometimes in life its easier not to believe what could be real.
Like TexasRose said..."Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction".

What?

The theory that 19 muslims hijacked 2 airliners and crashed them into the twin towers as Bin Laden was directing them from his cave using walky-talkies?

Go get educated!

As far as my research goes.....those theories are correct. And those in the beginning who tried to prove them....well, they are now dead.

And my reaction? "It's about time!"

And there is a old saying...."Truth is stranger than fiction."

What theories? You mean the ones about Al Queda hi-jacking planes and flying them into the Twin Towers? They probably are correct.

It would be no surprise to me. Since the beginning of time, government has used propaganda and such to keep their country in check and to enable the people to do what they want them to do. It is just the way of the world I suppose.
