try an over the counter inhaler like primetine mist or a cheap off brand

If you really have asthma you need to see a doctor. Over the counter medications like epinephrine (Primatine) only work briefly and for acute attacks. Use repeatedly, rescue inhalers prescription or OTC can cause some serious heart problems. Plus if your breathing is deteriorating, this can make the situation much much worse.
Asthma is a serious life-threatening illness.

I made an essential oil blend for my uncle who had athsma and emphyzema. and we would put a few drops of this blend of essential oils in a potpouri heater aith water.
The blend is 2/3rds eucalyptus oil 1/6th peppermint, and 1/6th sage oil.
His wheezing would stop in just a minute or two after the oils got into the air.

I have asthma also and you should visit your local surgery for regular check-ups.
