Who's not proud of America? You seem to equate people feelings towards the current government with their feelings toward the nation. What you fail to realize is that the government is not America. America consists of much more things than its leaders, and that's what makes America great.

'Course I'm proud.
I'm proud we're the oldest democracy and have the oldest constitution in the world. I'm proud we have human rights. I'm proud I can go against what the president says. I'm proud to live in a nation where people don't go killing others all the time. I'm proud we've practically saved the world from a fascist, racist, Nazi regime and an oppressive, Communist regime all in one century (we were heavily backed and supported by other European nations like the United Kingdom).
The things I'm not proud of are the rising power of Evangelicals who want to combine church and state and legalize morals. I'm also not proud of the person we call President, but I am proud our nation has term limits.

i mean, i know we're not ALL "hugh, brash, smelly, loud mouthed, racist, gung ho,hillbilly people who make up history. They also dont pollute the world and insist on poking their noses into other countires." but those in power & those that support those in power could be described as such...

''A prophet is never respected in is own village'' If Americans are not proud the be Americans they should take a look of what is happening to Africans or they should go and live the rest of their lives there maybe then would probably appreciate how blessed they are.

Your country will be a Third World Nation in 20 years.
I remember back when your nation used to be made up of strong people.
Except for Democrats, the people of our nation are proud of America.

No maximum are ashamed of him and what he keeps doing to this united states! He keeps saying how sorry he's for this united states to each and all of the foreign places leaders, refused to confirm the regulation that exceeded in Arizona and yet say that's racist, and fails to stay with the U.S. shape! The regulation that variety into exceeded in Arizona is what the Federal regulations says already they only positioned it up for their state regulation. sounds like he and maximum of those he has chosen to fill his cabinet posts fail to confirm it besides.

America is the lone superpower in the world, so we must have done something right for the past 230 years. This capitalist society we live in lets anyone that wants to work hard make a good living for themselves, and people that say they can't make a good living are just lazy. We should be proud that we have a leader that will take care of the terrorist problem (Bush) instead of ignoring it (Clinton).

300 years ago, England used the colonies as a dumping ground for all the scum of its society. And now you are upset with how their descendants turned out.
The British Empire planted the seeds in the USA. Now you Brits just have to reap what you sowed.
