i have lots of old vinyl records dating back to 1963, where can i go to find out how much they are worth?

Try Gemm or music stack and type in sfisher in the sellers box they have absolutely excellent feedback and I have had valuations and purchased records from them.they are caring considerate and extremely good at valuations.

Don't waste your time if the album is not in PRISTINE condition. Collectors are looking for perfection. This means no scratches, no torn corners, no stains on the album cover, etc.
There is a feature on e-bay where people list items that they are willing to purchase. You can peruse there and see if you have any albums these people may want.
Also, you may want to try to convert these albums to cds. A lot of music from the '60s is out of print. You can't even download it anywhere. For people who want a cd of that music, this would be more valuable than the actual LP.

get at least 2 dealers in to have a look at them. Always get quotes from more than one dealer.

Make it a condition that the have to take the whole lot, rubbish as well as good stuff. Watch record dealers- they are slippery customers.

If you sell vinyl records individually you get into all sort of hassles about the "condition " of the records.

I think everybodys got some boxes of them. Just hold on to them and someday someone will invent something to do with them. I'm thinking some kind of flower pot design.
