There's Oldman Willow in the Lord of the Rings books. That is the only willow tree I can name.

The most famous of which is Salix Whomping. This particular species has the abiltiy to reflex in large fast movements in the direction of something that touches its bark or leaves.

the genus is salix.
the species could be anything from alba to discolor, caprea...
babylonica is the weeping willow.
matsudana is the corkscrew....those are probably the more common..
