My cat has scratched the arms of a leather chair and left deep marks.

You can buy leather repair kits at auto supply stores. Depending on the color of your chair that may be the simplest solution. Furniture repair kits typically cost more

It is possible to repair cat scratches yourself, although it can be a bit of a tedious job.

LTT provide a kit with instructions but they will need a sample of the leather to match a perfect colour to. If the colour is wrong it will look dreadful. The pigmentd supplied by LTT will stick down any damage and should look good if done carefully.

Please DO NOT use polish (shoe or any other sort) as this will not work and then any pigments you use may not stick to the leather.

I have the same problem even though i cut the claws short . i have tried to take some tan shoepolish cream , since my leather sofa is tan, on mine and it worked a little on the not so deep ones . But the bigger ones i think will need professinoal patching done . This will cost

you have to get it re-upholstered! But not the entire thing! just the peice where the scratches are! You will have to take it to get an estimate done on it and it shouldn't cost all the much, depending on how many pieces have to be replaced. good luck!

decalw the cat for starters, your going to have the scartches no matter what, get some wood polish and that'sthe best you can do for now.
