We are fearful critters. Black can be associated with the night, which was an unsafe time for our early ancestors. This has been passed down to us. Just as bright light in the day time signals safety. We just carry over these evolutionary traits into other aspects of our lives.

When it comes to race, I challenge anyone to find me someone who is literally black or white. We generally range from a pinkish tan to dark brown.

read the dictionary on black and white and you will see why, but black and white are colors really... not a race
