I'm going to assume your using IE?
Go to Tools at the top of the IE program and than chose options...you can delete your history here with options for what type of history you want to delete

when the offending address / search term shows, move your mouse over it and hold down the [shift] key. then hit the [delete] key (it's above the arrows on your keyboard - it's not the [backspace] key)
Repeat as needed.
Clearing your history should also do the trick, but some people find the remembered addresses / search terms handy.

If you haven't already, I'd like to suggest you try Firefox for an hour a day for a week. It's consistently safer than even IE7.

Right-click on the search bar or sometimes in the search box and click clear search history. Which search bar are u using . Always mention these things for proper answers.
