Im in 8th grade and next year ill be high school, what year does homecoming,and prom happen in?

Were I grew up we had Homecoming in the fall every year for everyone, and Prom in the Spring but you had to go with a Junior or Senior or Be a Junior o\r Senior.

homecoming in my school is for everyone, every year. prom is only for juniors and seniors which in my school happens in the spring.

I started having homecoming and winterfest in 9th-12th grade. Prom was 11th and 12th graders, but I went earlier because my dates were older. So you can go every year if your date is in atleast 11th grade.

homecoming is for everyone, and there's a junior/senior prom at my school. there's a freshman/sophmore dance too

It happens every year, but traditionally you cannott be prom king or queen unless you are a junior or a senior.
