I say im not gonna watch,but i always do.Last year i got mad over some of them that got voted off and said i wasnt gonna watch the next week,but i couldnt NOT watch.

sadly,yes. i will admit-i say it's stupid and that i won't watch but i always do. i especially like the auditions. some of those people, who really believe they're good, are so fun to watch.i kind of feel sorry for them though. what kind of friends must they have that tell them "go for it , you're really good"are they evil or just tone deaf?

Everyone has things they like. And American Idol seems to be a very popular thing... but I wouldn't say it's an addicition. Now, if you would rather watch American Idol than take care of your children when they are in need, or you soil yourself while watching american idol because you don't want to go the bathroom for fear of missing anything... then you probably have an addicition. But simply loving to Watch American Idol (even if you don't like what happened last season) doesn't mean your addicted.

I think all reality shows are if they're about something that interests you. I don't watch Big Brother, but wouldn't miss American Idol, even when like you I got mad over some of the contestants getting voted off...or more so staying on (remember the red-haired kid?).

Yes, I hate pop music, yet I started watching it a few years ago and I cannot stop. It's almost like the HP addiction.

Yea same here. I wuld get mad nd say I wouldnt watch but I'd end up watchin it anyways. I just luv watchin American Idol.

yeah, maybe....i am less interested every year though b/c its the same thing over and over, but i do love watching the audtions part. thats my fav. part of the show. after that though, its hard for me to get into it like i used to.
