It's not that freaky.
I freak out the most, when I burn a CD and it ejects by itself (scares the crap out of me).

That has happened to me once or twice, when I forgot that I put toast in the toaster.

oh I've had that problem thousands of times. I'm not even going to lie. I was making toast one day and I had a butternife in my hand. When it popped up I jumped and raised the butterknife in my hand. It was hilarious.

Our toaster always toasts the bread to a crisp black, so we stand near it and pull the trigger to force the bread out. So, no that has not happened to me.

so funny cuz it happens to me all the time! I usually stand there and say to myself "i'm not gonna jump this time", but as soon as it pops I jump.

It depends on how tired I am. If it's the first thing in the morning and I am not awake yet, I will jump.
