I am purchasing a new truck in the near future. I'm debating a friend about how color can make identical objects (trucks and cars) appear larger or smaller. Of the following colors, which ones give the appearance of appearing bigger? Fire Red, Dark Blue, Black, White, Silver or ?

Bigger: White and Silver
Smaller: Black and Dark Blue

I personally prefer Fire Red though.

Lighter colors always make things appear larger, which is why so many people paint walls white. However, in a truck, I prefer a beautiful black. I've had silver, hated every moment of it.
