Hey! It can be very nerve racking the first time you have to sing on stage, I know it was for me. But with a few tips I'm sure you'll do fine! Backstage: - Sing the song that you will be singing on stage - Practice scales - Drink lots of water - Clear your throat by drinking hot tea (without milk), gargling hot water, etc. - Of course, warm up! On stage: - Do not look at the audience - If you are nervous or embarrassed for some reason, imagine the entire audience in their underwear without actually looking them! - If you get butterflys in your stomach, breath deeply Good luck and have a great Christmas and new year. Logan.

have a person play an instument like a piano and sing along with that . the person who plays should have a good ear at least. The player should stop you when your off key or something and let you know.
I think you should also record your singing with very little sound of the music in the recording so you can hear what you sound like.

The best thing you can do to really get your voice in shape is to practice, practice, practice - and I don't mean in the shower or while you are driving on the freeway. You need to be able to practice where you can stand straight up, with good posture, for at least 30 minutes at a time. You need time to warm-up your vocal cords, practice your scales, and then embark on singing some of your favorite tunes!

My tip would be if you can't sing just don't sing in front of people. If you want to get better Practice, Practice, Practice. Even that won't help some but most it will. Karaoke helps, start at home though. lol

Take deep breaths, don't smoke (makes the voice raspy), sing from your gut (always better to stand when singing), practice and record your voice so you can hear how good you sound. Drink water cause that clears your throat. It would be good to take singing lessons

1) Warm up. Always warm up for at LEAST 5 minutes
2) Take voice lessons--it will NEVER hurt to get a professional's help to improve. Don't think you can't improve!
3) Don't go beyond your range. Know it and stick to it.
4) Don't drink milk before singing

If you want to sing good or even great. Don't be a wannabe singer. Sing what you feel. Also, don't fake your voice sing in a pretty voice not a fake one.

Just record yourself singing, then play the recording back. If it sounds good than good job! If it sounds ok than look at the parts you need to improve on, high notes, low notes, etc. Good luck!

If you need singing tips, and you don't have specific questions, or a singing teacher...then you shouldn't be singing.
