Is there a way of deleting the search history on both yahoo and google? I know how to delete the history of the sites i've visited, but when i do that it won't delete my search history on specific sites.

If you have IE7, then go to tools >> internet options >> click on delete and then click on clear forms. Otherwise, go to tools >> internet options >> content >> autocomplete >> and click on clear forms.

When you see an address / search term you want to delete, move your mouse over it, hold down the [Shift] key and press the [Delete] key. It's the one above the arrow keys, not the one you usually use.

Clicking on the search engine and then clicking again gets all of the search history to pop up in Firefox, I don't know about IE... I haven't used it in years.

I, of course, highly recommend Firefox. Try it for an hour a day for a week. You may be surprised how much you learn to like it!

on yahoo there is a bar at the toop and if it doesnt have a clock that has an arrow on it then you have to change it but if u delete the yahoo history it will delete on google if u delete the part that say google usualy u can right click and it says delete

all depends on if you are using Firefox or IE. Both sites should have help on how to do it, but firefox you can go to options and clear out all your personal data.

if u r using IE, from tools option, go to internet options. then click on content option and in personal information, click auto complete and then uncheck everything. also clear SSL state in same content menu
