It worked out great for the both of us. That is one thing that we have never regreted....waiting until we were married to have sex. It is definitely "worth the wait" and will make your marriage more lasting and loving, knowing that you both put your own pleasures and desires aside to "do the right thing". You will also be the very best example for your future children. God bless you.....:)

I was a virgin when I married my first husband, and so was he. He had unrealistic expectations, and did not understand that it can be sore for the girl, so it was not the most pleasant experience of my life. And we were also incompatible as well, after having experienced sex with him it almost put me off totally!!!! Thankfully that marriage did not last, and it was only after then that I discovered sex was actually great!!! Now I would say it is better to know what you are getting in to, and to see if you are physically compatible. Even the smell of my ex-husbands skin was horrible.

I waited until I was married to have sex and it worked out great.

We had something to look forward to on our wedding night. It was wonderful . We have now been married for eight years and the sex is still great.

You really should wait until after marriage to have sex just be patient.

I'm personally not married yet.
I AM in a long-term relationship though and he respects me and is more than willing to wait. : }

But I am also waiting till marriage to have sex. And from what I hear, it's totally worth the wait.... to save yourself... your body... for your one and only spouse. Now THAT is the best gift of all.

It worked out great. My husband and I have a great sex life after we got married, the first time I was nervous, but he is my husband and we love eachother and are together, so I am completly comfortable with him now.

I did the right thing in waiting. My hubby and I just aren't compatible in that area of our marriage. It does put a strain, but we have enough of everything else to stay together. If I'd known.. it wouldn't have made a difference... We'd still beent together anyway.

Well put it this way, we had sex before marriage but it was the first and only for each of us. Been together for 37 years and no regrets. We have only been with each other and that makes us special for each other and our relationship. Yep, I highly recommend only one partner for life.

My husband and I didn't, and I'm glad we didn't. It just made things more special, I think. I'm sure it is nice for him to know he's the only one I've ever been with.
