I would like to tell people that saying that I'm proud to be german doesn't mean that I'm a nazi- I am just proud of my ancestors (who were already in America before Hitler was born)

More along the same line... that whites are not all prejudiced rednecks that can't sing or dance. These days I think the middle man... the average working class are being forgotten. Pity really when you think about what this day is for. I am not sure the good Dr would be so pleased as to how things have progressed. Seems as though the more you think things change the more they stay the same.

I'd tell the American Indians who get government funds to use that money to improve the conditions on the reservations themselves.
Create their own construction companies to build their own homes; plumb their own water/sewer pipes; run their own electrical power lines from the power stations to the reservations.
And, tell the treasurers of the wealthier tribes to distribute their monies evenly amongst tribal members instead of building big homes for themselves & council members.
People who do that are just victimizing their own peoples and have no leg to stand on when complaining about treatment by the whites.

I'm an Australian, so my statement would be something like, 'No, I've never wrestled a crocodile, and I don't ride a kangaroo to work.'
I have travelled a bit throughout the world and found that people are pretty much the same all over the world. They all want what's best for their children, they all want to be free and happy.

I'd love to see all People be color blind so we see all people as nothing more than people. Not black, white, yellow, red, etc. We are all human beings. Just people.

without life there can be no death and without death there can be no life. no matter what ethnic background one has or shares eventually all of us will die fulfilling the destiny of our human race. let us all strive to make the world a better place than when we came into it.
