Pie Iesu Domine
Dona Eis Requiem
It's actually a Latin phrase from the Catholic mass. The music will be very different, but those words crop up in Mozart and Verdi's Requiems, and Beethoven's, Mozart's and Haydn's masses (I know, I've sung all of them, and still have a quiet chuckle to myself whenever I see the words in my musical score)
Incidentally, one of my proudest moments was after a performance of the Verdi Requiem with the WA Symphony I got the entire bass section joining with me as we left the choir stalls and went backstage, chanting "Pie Iesu" and slapping our heads with our music folders...

They are chanting a religious prayer, because they are a sect of monks that use self abuse as a type of prayer.
