You are seriously out of touch with reality. Prozac might help.

Well Ali, I guess I agree with you to some degree but America is not entirely without blame for some of the bad things going on right now.
While Saddam was a tyrant and deserved to be ousted, the Iraqi people didn't deserve to be thrown into the chaos they are now coping with. I can still see the news clips of George Bush standing on the deck of the warship with a big "Mission Accomplished" banner behind him. It's almost as if the invasion was a precursor for a photo-op for the president. Then there's the prisons at Guantanamo Bay and the reports of atrocities. Let's not forget Abu Ghraib.
Pinochet ran Chile tyrannically but received American support which makes me ask "why was America so eager to go into Iraq"?
I'm not saying that Bush is a bad person or for that matter a bad President but he is getting flawed information and advice and he doesn't seem to realize it.
I am well aware of the Persian culture and I imagine that if you grew up in Iran then came to America, you must have experienced a certain degree of culture shock. It is nice to see that you have adapted so easily and that you are able to keep an open mind about America.
The American people are for the most part, a warm, caring people with a high moral standard. Sometimes it's hard to see this through all the negative media coverage they get at home and abroad.

Uh huh. All they say is "No more war!" There re reasons I oppose the president, but there are also reasons I'd support the bastards too.
I recently asked a question that democrats could not answer. I asked them to say something positive about the president.... But nooooo, they can't do that.
I'm a Democrat and I can realize that Bush has done a nice amount of good. Why I oppose Iraq is because we should have been in and out of that horrid place. Strongest armies in the world and we've hardly went anywhere past the capture of Saddam.
These 20,000+ troops will be a lesson for Bush. Maybe when he invades Iran he'd send our own people enough support!

Contrary to what others on here may think of me, I love America. I love the American public, in the same way you can love an over enthusiastic but stupid puppy.
I love the constitution and the Bill of rights, the pursuit of happiness and the right to life and liberty and the huge value placed on freedom. I love the american dream. I love the enthusiasm of the American spirit and I love the American culture.
It's the utter abandonment of these American ideals by an utterly corrupt leadership (in both the republicans and the democrats) that sickens me.
I am not anti American, I would say the American Government is anti-American, as Gitmo and secret warrantless wiretaps and detention without trial, and launching needless invasions overseas are the very antithesis of everything America stands for.
I am not anti American, I am anti BUSH!

Really, I am part of the **** Bush committee and I thought we were the minority. At least here in the south. The popular thing to do down yonder is put a W sticker on your car and act like your are a proud american. Frankly, I think you are some punk american trying to act like an iranian. Bush is the worst president ever, and continues to make a fool of himself every time he goes on tv. Its idiots like you that do not know what is going on and are blinded by the republican hipocracy. Go back to Iran...

So it's merely a fashion trend? Are there no legitimate reasons for concern when it comes to the actions of the US government on the international stage?
No non-Muslim outside Iran chooses Ahmadinejad over Bush. I happen to think that both are bad leaders, in very different ways.

i chanced on it to be very unhappy. right here is the church Mr. & Mrs. Obama, 2 o.k. knowledgeable African individuals, who've executed particularly properly in usa of america have chosen to connect. they chosen to sit down down there and hear such diatribes for two decades. the only conceivable end is they might desire to have agreed with the message. If I ever walked into everywhere of worship and heard any cleric make such statements approximately yet another group of human beings or my united states particularly, i might get up and walk out immediately. i don't see how Obama can dis-affiliate himself from something he huge-unfold for two decades. All i'm able to assert is this Obama isn't as staggering as i presumed he replace into. are you able to think of absolutely everyone who had purely reciently graduated from an Ivy League college and holding a regulation degree might desire to turn around and enable absolutely everyone tell him how evil the rustic is that gave him the prospect to realize such fulfillment? which could purely propose that Mr. Obama is without logical concept. i'm appalled by this so referred to as church. No ask your self there is a lot racial strife nonetheless in usa of america in spite of each and every thing the tricky paintings and sacrifice by maximum of civil rights leaders and workers. Dr. King might desire to be spinning like he's on a lathe. *

It is people like yourself that add a Positve spin on things. As an outsider, you see the whole picture more clearly. In our country, due to our ffreedoms, we can can be both Pro-American or Anti-American....The major benefit of being a free nation. We just want all nations to have that right.
Most can't complain about their own country, publically, or they may lose their head....Here we can complain about everything......isnt Amerca Great.
Thanks for your input

thank you for speaking out. It's good to know there are people with a level head on their shoulder. Bush is not perfect, he certainly can't speak like good ol slick willy, but I would much sooner have a man that can do the job over a sweet talker.
