I like the birkenstock clogs...in dark brown. My friend says they're ugly. Are they really out? What do you think of them?

Well to be quite honest with you, I was in Highschool in the 70s!! And everyone, wore Birkenstock's in the SpringTime, at School, in those days!!! I just love the look about them!! And there still popular!! I dont think they'll ever go out of "Style!!" Smile!!!

I do not think that they are ugly. The only time that I might say they are is when people wear socks with them. Birkenstocks are not ment to be worn with socks! Besides if you are the one that has to wear them why do you care what your friend thinks.

I love birkenstocks...soo comfy...who cares what your friends think..if you like them..then thats all that matters

They are not as popular as they used to be but if you like them wear them who cares what everyone else thinks. They are kinda expensive. I like the clogs, but I am 27 and I wore them in high school if that means anything to you.

They're too clunky and heavy. Yeah, they're kinda ugly too. Have you tried BORN? They make great clogs and they are sooo comfortable. Another great clog comes from DANSKO - they are heavier but very comfortable.

Who cares what people think- if you like them wear them. I've wore them for years and get a heckle every now and again. If anything, I'd make a point to wear them around your friend- out in public!! They ARE comfy...

Birks will never go out of style they are a staple in your wardrobe. Just buy them they are your feet. And they are so comfy.
