This leak is on the bottom and is coming out at the reset switch. Can this be repaired?

It is time for a new unit. The motor seal is leaking and everything inside the unit has gotten at least some water damage. It would cost at least half the price of a new unit to repair and you will still have the old worn parts.

If it is coming from the reset switch you are risking electrocution! Turn off the circuit breaker or the wall switch and put tape over the switch.

I doubt this is the case though. Check the gasket around the Dishwaser drain hose if you have one and the seal around the waste pipe. If there is no connection to the dishwasher then check the outlet cover. Also check to make sure the unit is seated properly in the sink.

Some times the leak can be so slow as to be undetectable. So wrap the pipe joints in tissue or paper towel and that should show any wet spots.

Fill the sink with water, (use a plastic lid or drain stopper). Remove the stopper and while the sink is draining turn on the disposal and look for obvious leaks.

If nothing is apparent, TURN OFF the disposal and check the tissues/towels.

If all is dry, replace unit.

The disposal might have a leak in the side or rusted out. There also might be a hose loose. But if this just started then more than likely is has rust out and needs replacing. A new one runs about 50-100 dollars. You can install one just make sure the switch is off.
