they told me he was to go to the camp, he never went to the camp. stayed out in the woods with no place to go to the bathroom, no gloves for protection,it was not just him there were 25 others. also in real jail if they send you to clean up the highways they give you gloves and something to alert cars that your there working.also they feed you more then 1 pop tart in the morning. also for lunch you get more then crunchy noodle soup. the were handed the noodle cup went for the hot water and had to immediatly eat the soup. they were on a time limit. they couldn't put a cover on it to soften up the noodles. and dinner consited of nutragrain bars, candy bars, uncrustables, rice krispies treats and a apple. now would you want your children to do this

i made him take pictures, i understand he was to be punished, i have no problem with that, but the staff members seem to get a power trip out of this, it seems to my family that he was singled out by 1 person in particular because the 1 staff member is from our town, but i'm up for anything.

yea i think your outta luck your best chance is to take pictures and make sure they have time date setting The most you could do is get a lawyer and file civil suit against the state but its gonna be one heck of a battle sure your up for that?

It was meant to be a punishment not a camping trip. As long as they did not beat him, your out of luck. He had a hard time, much easier than prison (in the future) Lets hope it did the job of teaching him you break the rules, you have to pay for the crime. Count it as a blessing it could have been worse.

You do not say how old he is, that may change my mind on how he could or should be punished

I don't think that's gonna qualify for abuse. What exactly are your trying to accomplish? Suing the program or filing charges for abuse? It's called punishment for a reason. Sorry, I know that's not the answer you want, but unless they actually out his life in jeopardy (and pulling weeds doesn't count), then there is nothing you can do. But he can do something. He can follow school rules so this doesn't happen again.
