I HATE AKON AND HIS SONGS... the way he illustrates women is just disgusting! anyone else agree or disagree?

i agree in some way yes some of the things they say are pretty gross but on the other hand rap and hip-hop and music is the potery of the street it gives men and woman a chanch to say how they fell and to express theie views on a subject and i know you have to admit some thing that woman sing about things arn't the nicest eathier but music is a way for some people to say how they fell and sometimes it is ment ot hurt people or make them think but most of the time it just gives singers and song writers a chanch to say how they fell but what do i know

I think Akon has songs that are very much what our society is all about today. I think he has helped a lot of people realize that life is so much more than just being a thug. You got to look at the meaning in his songs on the whole rather than just bits and pieces of what he says in one or two.

agree!!! Most rap and hip-hop songs fall under one of the following categories:
A) I like girls with big booties
B) I'm so fly
C) My girlfriend's really hot
D) I miss my girlfriend cuz she broke up with me

I think you are absolutely right but he needs to change his approach. You just can't be tellin' women that you want to smack their behind. You also can't be tellin' woman that you want to have sex with them.
