That's not a story problem. Here's a story problem:

Archthurius can walk the diameter of a circle of 1.3 * 10^12 meters in one month without stopping for rest, food, or evacuation. His friend Cartuminus can walk the radius of the same circle in the same amount of time. What color is the bear?

Oh, no, that's a different problem. A hunter walks one mile east from his base camp, then one mile north, then one mile south and is back at his base camp, where he shoots a bear. What color is the bear?

The radius is 6.5 x 10^11 meters. Multiply this by 2, and you get:

2 x (6.5 x 10^11) = 13.0 x 10^11 = 1.3 x 10^12 meters, which is your diameter.

We know that the radius is equal to half of the diameter.

So, when you do divison with such problems, you only divide the first number (i.e 1.3) by 2.

Therefore 1.3 / 2 = 0.65

Therefore, the radius = 0.65 x 10^12 meters.

Another good way to do such problems is to create another problem using simpler figures and then solve that one. For example:

4 x 10^2 = 400

We know that half of 400 is 200.

So how do we divide this by 2?

As before, we only divide the first number (i.e. 4) by 2.

so, 4 / 2 = 2

Therefore 2 X 10^2 = 200.

200 is half of 400, so it works!

(1.3 x 10^12)/2.

The radius is half of the diameter.

radius is half the diameter or diameter is twice the radiuus
r=d/2 or d=2r
given that d=1.3 x 10^12mt
therefore r= (1.3 x 10^12)/2mt
=1.3 x 10^6mt
=1300000mt
