Buy the 14 day tickets from disney.com. But make them so you can use them whenever you want. I don't know what it is called exactly, but you can buy them and make it so you can use them in a few years, when you go back again. And if you don't use all of them that year either, and you go back in a decade, you can still use the rest of them. It's really worked out well for my family; we went about 10 years ago and bought a 14 day pack. We usually go for 2 day segments and then head to the beach, and we are going again this year using the 14 pack again.
Hope this helped you out!

I agree about not buying the 14day ticket- it really is overkill by the end! 7 days is fine and then you have some spare days to go to some other places (highly recommend Universal/ Island of Adventures).
I bought mine there from a ticket place (which are on every corner in orlando near enough!!). The main advantage is that the dollar is so weak against the pound. I generally try to get everything (accomodation etc) on an american website- always saves money!
And remember you can't share as you now have to do thumb recognition to get into the parks- mean!!
Have fun.... If you're going in summer where LOOSE clothing, carry lots of water and have loads of suncream- it is HOT!
Have a great time!

For a one day ticket, that is about as good as you are going to find. There just are not any legitimated discounts for a one day disney park ticket. With your Florida residency, you are much better off buying from disney direct. disney finger scans their tickets, beware of scams.

Purchase them in advance, but do NOT buy them on ebay, as someone listed for you. Get them from one of these legitimate locations for a discount:
Disney Store
AAA (membership required)
Costco (membership required)
Sam's Club (membership required)
Or order them from Disney directly at http://www.disneyworld.com
The longer you stay and play, the cheaper each tickets gets. So 14 days should get your a pretty good deal.

The 14 day tickets are very pricey and you will probably find that you will not use them every day; it is too exhausting.
When you get there look around for places selling unused portions of 7 and 14 day tickets. That is what the locals do and it is much cheaper.

I did months of research on this one and fell to this conclusion: disneyworld.com...believe me, I REASEARHED!!!! A LOT!!!
It's actually cheapest from the actual source! Make sure to scroll down the home page and read the specials. Click on it too because if you don't, you won't get the special rate.
