I used vitamin E...and a bunch of other skin softeners but i still got stretch marks. Sometimes it doesnt matter what you do or what you try you'll get them. So try thinking of them as badges of honor.

The problem with cocoa butter is that it can lead to increased pigmentation--it might darken your skin, depending on your body. However, it is often recommended, as well as aloe vera. Ask your doctor about using tretinoin cream on stretch marks. It is available by prescription only. In some supermarkets and other stores there's a cream called Belly Butter, which calls itself a "moisturizing and replenishing" maternity cream. Massage the stretch marks with a loofah brush or something in the shower to stimulate circulation. Hope this works! Many stretch marks eventually fade, too.

From everything I've heard and read about this subject, stretch marks are hereditary. There are no magic creams to prevent them. I just used cocoa butter cream (mostly because I like the smell) and a good moisturizing lotion. Pregnancy causes dry skin, which can be itchy. I didn't have any stretch marks.

I worked at a high end baby store and we sold a product called Tummy Honey. It has all sorts of oils in it to help promote elasticity in your skin and help heal the existing marks. It really does work, I got terrible stretch marks with my first 2, used it with my 3rd and I did not itch or get any new marks, plus it faded the ones I had. You should try it, we had people buying it for their arms and breasts because they had heard from a pregnant friend that it worked. Good luck!!

You may try several different things to hydrate your skin, but if your going to stretch, your going to stretch. Depending on the elasticity of your skin will determine how much your skin will give. The good thing is that they will fade in time.

sometimes stretch marks just come natural when you are born and you can't do anything about it. if you just now getting them and they hurt or itch you need to try cocoa butter or vitamin E.

Stri-Vectin SD is the best. Cocoa butter and vitamin E don't work-trust me.
