Now that I have been married and divorced once, have teen-aged daughters and am 40, I look for different things than I did when I was in my early 20's.
I look for integrity and honesty more than anything else. I look for a positive attitude and a gentle nature. But, I want a man who IS a man and who takes charge. I don't want to be bossed, but I can be lead. I want a man who is a good lover, certainly, but that comes with experience and love and unselfishness. I appreciate a man who takes care of himself, but good looks are low on my list of priorities - as is money. I earn well myself, so companionship and true love are for more important to me. This time around love that I can count on, and trust, are tops for me. I need to know that I can love freely and be accepted for all of my strengths and weaknesses and never worry that if I get sick or am not as attractive as I am now that his love would still be strong and that I don't have to even think that he would look elsewhere.
I am virtually certain that I have found that now and I am so very grateful. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for giving me a second chance at love. My man is a man that I can truly look up to and respect. I know that he does the right thing, is generous and giving and shows absolutely no sign of jealously, anger, depression, deceit, etc.

Well lets see here.... Honesty commitment romance and not just sex!!!! Someone who will love us for us and not look at other women and someone who will stay true to us and spoil us through the good times and the bad.... To sum it all up a guy who is not selfish and who treats us the way he would want to be treated... Basically someone who will love and cherish us for the rest of our lives.

It depends on the woman. If a woman is a genuine Christian woman she looks for a man who loves Jesus with all his heart, however, some woman are so obediant to the Lord they will marry whoever the Lord wants them too. Some woman just go for good looks. Personally, I fell for my husband because he has good personality, is in good shape, loyal, mature and hansome man, and he loves the Lord with all his heart, has a job and could support our family and the Lord wanted me to marry him.

Intelligence, kindness, a sense of humor, chemistry, and a beautiful smile. That is what I looked for and found in my hubby.... Great Looks and money are just the bonuses.

Enough money to support future family+children. Excess money to support jobless wife would be a bonus.
Good looks so my children can have our good genes, however your looks wouldn't matter if you have excess money to give our children plastic surgery in future.

integrity, good job, reliability, honesty, compassion, sense of humor, able to handle stress, and crisis's, healthy, compatible, can handle criticism without anger, takes CARE of responsibility, maturity, emotionally well, accountable, self confident, humble, fair, good character,someone who accepts u as u are, not who they want u to be. one who values u and their self.
