I feel sorry for Bush because so many people have attacked him and never given him an opportunity to lead the nation. The latest example of the Bush hatred is over the increase in troops. A month ago the Democrats were calling for increases in the nymber of troops in Iraq in order to bring this war to an end. Once Bush implaments this plan the plan becomes the worst idea in the world and people protest what the Democrats wanted in the first place.

I feel sorry for the President because he has never been given a fair opportunity to lead the country. Just look at your question. It is further example of the hatred there is for Bush

President George Bush is an accomplished man.

He graduated Yale, flew fighter jets and ran a successful major league baseball team.

He was governor of Texas and was re-elected by a wide margin.

He won acclaim from liberals for his ability to work with them.

It wasn't until he reached the poisoned air of Washington DC and the National Liberal Biased Media that he suddenly became the liberals favorite enemy.

Now that he is facing the insanity from liberals on a daily basis, it is more evident than ever that he is a great President.

I think Bush has been hugely underestimated. And yes, I do feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for any mere mortal who has the job of running the country in this time of confusion.

I think everyone in a way sometime or another has felt sorry for Bush. But when he keeps ignoring advice, and not reaching across party line to discuss issues, Not anymore......An example he just Invited some Republican Reps over to discuss some matters, why did he not extend his invitation to some Dem's at least to get their view point, and to show he would be willing to work with others.

I feel sorry for the American People......they have no idea what the presidency is up against. They are doing the absolute best job under the circumstances...Not one Lib has come up with a better solution........Packing up and running away .is NOT a solution. Its just a way of life for the Libs....heads in the sand...ignore it and it will go away......Stop bashing the Presidency....and support it, help it during hard times....

I do feel sorry for the idiot. He is just a puppet for this wicked administration. Although he probably doesn't make most of the stupid decisions, he sure backs them up 100 percent. Only about 23 more months left...

See, I disagree with you that he is stupid. He is doing EXACTLY what his handlers are telling/asking him to do. He has been the ultimate "go-to" guy to increase the size and scope of the federal government, flood the US with illegals, merge the US/Canada/Mexico, sell off important US assets, decrease US security by pissing off every Muslim in the world, increase the debt, increase the trade deficit. In other words, he's damn near bring down the last remaining empire single handedly and he's doing it on a pace that makes the UN / PNAC, and others smile with joy.
