I am totally against it. He should be getting our troops out of there. Every six months or so they come up with some bullsh*t timeline as to when they will start bringing troops home and it has yet to happen. This war should never have happened to begin with. The least our government could do is get all our troops out now and let Iraq stand on their own two feet. Bush has put us in a no win situation. If we send more troops, we'll only escalate the war. If we pull out now, it looks like we lost the war. I say we cut our losses, bring our troops home and let Bush take the blame for our biggest military blunder in history. Why put more lives at stake just to save face?

I'm opposed! The only reason for the WTC tragedy, the war and the millions of deaths is Bush! the WTC was a conspiracy between the president and the leader of AlQaïda so that Bush can get publicity and be "recognized" as doing something for his country by sending troops to Iraq. The only thing he succeeded in doing is killing innocent people and robbing families of their loved ones!!!

I think we are being over-sensitized by the media, how many people did Hussein kill on a weekly basis to start all this? War begins to make sense when you get attacked enough. I am not opposed to more troops being sent, I think we do need to finish what we start and resent all the opinion gathering to the contrary.

It depends. If he does send more people to Iraq, he better have a good plan of action. If he doesn't have a good strategy on how to defeat them, then I'd say no. If he does, I'd say yes. It just all depends on the situation.
But, of course, I don't like war, at all. I just want it to end quickly and never really happen again. But I can only wish that would ever happen.

Yes - we've lost way too many soldiers after the "end of major operations" in Iraq nearly 4 years ago. We don't need to lose any more in what's become an Iraqi civil war.

I am opposed to this plan. The amount he plans to send is not going to be enough to hold an entire country, and we are stretched too thin to send many more. It's scary, and we're going to see a lot more American body bags. We've already seen more Americans die in this war than in both twin towers combined. I have to wonder what the price of someone else's freedom truly is.

Every escalation has led to more violence, not less. Even Bush is on record as saying that sending more troops sends the wrong message to the Iraqis.

I am; because many innocent people will die and they had nothing to do with it. It makes absolutely no sense. I hate war. I'm also opposed because many people may never see their family and friends again.
