Unfortunately, like many working class Americans, I can not afford to do much at all today. What I will do is remember how to Dr. King fought to expand democracy and Human Rights and do what I can to try to start a new Civil Rights movement for the entire American working class. Now all races are equal, but still all people are not. Why should rich people have better health care? Why are so many people homeless? Why is minimum wage so low no one could possibly live on it? Dr. King did a lot but there is still a lot left to do. Remembering that is the best way I can think of to remember Dr. King.

I think it should be "National Declare Bankruptcy Day" and all taxpayers that work for a living should be allowed to declare bankruptcy due to the fact that this "dream" has become our nightmare.

Nothing different. It's not a holiday we celebrate. My husband is home from school were he's been studying to get his ged.
