Actually, that's a good idea. But I think that George is doing good enough for now. Maybe in '08.

You think Bush is a tyrant, look at what Gates does to competition. He is the last of the great robber barons, like the old Carnegie, etc. They also gave to charity at the end of their lives, but screwed over competitors like it was an Olympic sport.
Good luck on living in a country run by Gates.. He can afford to be generous. I speak 3 languages, can I get a shot at running the country?

Bill Gates? There are a lot of people who can run the country better and when you get a better one in there will be a lot of people who can run the country better than that one. What world do you live in that you think you will always have the best leadership. I can tell you right now not many could do the job Bush has done and still kept us safe and kept us from collapsing. What have you done to make things better?

yes, even though I believe he is a Democrat (I think) he is probably one of the greediest people on the planet....Bill Gates before Bush, but only just before.
I know he has given much to charity, but he has a history of being very ruthless to employees and competitors....he's a great capitalist, but to say he's a great man because he gave a billion dollars after he raked in 20 billion from all segements of society, is going too far
I wish the US could figure out how to run this country and insulate it from bad leaders

Yes, he's certainly demonstrated that he understands the concept of philanthropy; having given 37% of his wealth--more than $28 billion--to charitable causes.
He certainly has just as much - likely more - intelligence than Bush.

He wouldn't have stained the Oval Office up like Clinton.
He never has cameras follow him to black churches to film him clutching his Bible and crying, like Clinton did.
Clinton was the one who was the preacher, not Bush.
Forgot, eh?
