well i m student of class VII.i m giving u the information wat i hav red.first of all,cassius,a roman citizen provoked brutus tat he is more powerful than ceasar,second he provoked brutus by telling tat caesar has many physical weakness and third of all brutus was excited with cassius word of provoke and he started feeling gelous of ceasar.

Brutus is a nobleman and patriot and everything he does, he believes to be for the better of Rome.
His reasons for killing Ceasar are, that he fears that if Caesar comes to power it will be bad for Rome, Cassius is another cause, provoking Brutus against Caesar.
To the guy above me, Brutus was never jealous of Caesar.
