First of all I want to show a bit disagreement on the answers above that the Scorpio is the best sign. I think all signs have positive and negative sides, every sign is the best in a particular characteristic and in the same time has negative sides of his/her character.
Now to come back to your question. I have 3 Scorpio friends and I find them interesting, intriguing and sometimes I admire of their reactions or intuition. I am Taurus and I get well along with the Scorpio because I am always careful not to hurt their feelings, pride or dignity. I am not afraid of the Scorpio's revenge because the Scorpio revenge only to those who really mean to hurt him or her and to those who probably deserve to be placed where they belong to...During these years of friendship, I had seen many times how they revenge to bad people but I am trying to prevent them doing so. I have what to learn from the Scorpio and they also learn stuff from me.
What I cherish into the Scorpio is the ability to keep a secret. What I dislike is when they do stinging comments and when they are too direct. I tried so many times their poison and I felt hurt a lot but because they are very intelligent when a Scorpio notice he/she hurts a friend they always cover their tracks, making a new analyze of the situation into which is clearly stated they never mean to hurt (of course they did) but they put the things from different angle. It heals the wound somehow and I forgive them because I like them. The next time they bite again and again try to show they didn't mean. I am much used to that model so lately I am already vaccinated from their poison.
The Scorpio is fare and loyal but also very secretive and mysterious. True that the Scorpio can read mind but because they see the things as black and white sometimes they fail from objective estimation. They love like I do with the whole their heart but they will never confess it. Their dignity will suffer if they show their feelings as it means weakness for them. For me there is nothing wrong to show feelings or to say what I feel and that's why we are good match cuz we are so opposite. They won't say sorry or that they care but they will find a way to show they feel they did something wrong and they will let you know indirectly by doing something that they care. If they are hurt they will hide it, when you do not expect they will bite you on a place where it will hurt, but if you never meant to hurt them and you explain that, then they will hide the poison for the next time or if they can't use it because you really didn't mean to hurt the Scorpio and they see it, they will bite someone else just cuz of the idea of biting with poison hahaha...well that was from me..hope I help a bit :P

A Scorpio is a complete feeler...even though we are rough and tough on the outside. We tend to hold our feelings in and not share them until we really truly get to know a special person and trust them. Once we do open up to people we trust we become a really good friend/lover to them. We are do'ers and work hard to please our mates in the bedroom. Scorpios can become very vindictive if our friends or lovers hurt us. We will do anything to make them feel hurt as we do. Its not cool to cross a Scorpio and we often have quick tempers or mood swings. Regardless of all these things, we are truly lovers not fighters. We stick up for our friends and families (very protective) and don't let others hurt them.

Well let me see if I can explain it a little bit...
If someone puts a little tiny scratch in your car, you may want to smash theirs with a hammer, even if they did it on an accident.
If someone calls you a liar or even IMPLIES that you are a liar, first it will cause you to want to rip their head off(sorta) then you will feel just terrible for over-reacting...then you will be emotional then pretty much you will probably want to just rip out their toungue for ever even having the slightest incling that YOU OF ALL PEOPLE ARE EVEN CAPAPABLE OF TELLING A LIE...
You will soar like the GOLDEN EAGLE, and rise above all things, or you will WALLOW IN MIRE AND SELF PITTY, an AMOTIONAL WRECK, and yet, even if you become the EMOTIONAL WRECK, you will HARDLEY EVER show any of that emotion,..unless someone, even a complet STRANGER puts that little scratch in your car... They will wish they never BUMPED into you.
You have a WEALTH OF intuition...use it.
You can PENETRATE ones very soul, to the deepest core, therefore knowing what they are thinkin...You are secretive, emotional, but not going to SHOW IT, Masculine, intuitive, creative, probably enjoy writing and the outdoors...well that is maybe TRUE, THE OUTDOORS THING...
Hurt and pain will often be turned into anger, possibly rage...
If someone cuts you off, LOOK OUT!!!
We are THE VERY BEST of all the SIGNS, and I am not just saying that cause I am Scorpio.
We have this power, to CONTROL AND MANIPULATE...things and situations.
