Magneto moved the chess piece at the end of X Men 3. And if you waited till after the credits were over, you saw that Professor X went into the body of the comatose patient they discussed in class. There will be a 4th!

They say that there isn't going to be an X Men 4. There will be a Wolverine movie sometime this year, I think, and there might be the possibility of a NEW X Men trilogy sometime in the future. But it the end of X-men 3 Magneto moves the chess piece without touching it, so I do think he will get his powers back.

Like everyone else said towards the end of the movie he does move that chess piece. So that means a lot of the characters get their powers back. Including Magneto and Mystique. My Favortie. part was at the ending after the credits...when Prof. X is alive in that other persons body. That is crazy!

I didn’t think that they were planning to make anyone X-men films I thought that they were just doing the 3. However I hope that they do because I really like the films and I thought that Magneto was one of the best characters, so yes I think that he will get his powers back and rule

"IF" there is a X-men 4? Yes, The "Cure" was synthesized from the blood of the mutant who had the power to "turn off" other mutants powers. Of the mutants they showed in the movie, Only three mutants were above "Class One" status of mutants....(Professor X, Magneto, Phoenix.) All of the other mutants that took the "Cure" would have lost their powers. The three stated above would have had to have been administered HUGE doses in order to totally suppress their mutant capabilities. If there is a "4" You bet Magneto will have his powers back.......(Word around the campfire is is that MAGNETO is going to get his own film!)

Probably--he DID start getting his powers back at the end of X-Men 3.

They left it like he was getting his powers back. So, if they were to make another movie, I'm almost positive he would have his powers back. But...I don't think they are going to make anymore. I've heard Halley Barry doesn't want to make more, so I assumed they would just stop. Lets hope not though!!!! I LOVE X-Men and I hope they make another one!
