Why would you want to? Are you not being passive aggressive then?

Don't let them affect you. Be calm and assertive, tell them they have to communicate directly with you if they want something, instead of trying to manipulate you into something-and stick to your guns-passive aggression is a life-long way of living-it will be hard to change but perhaps you could start with one little thing--and, you have to show the person how it benefits the relationship/situation.-they say it takes either 13 or 30 repetitions to break a habit and that would be for each little action. Hope this helps-also there is a book out there, "How to live with a passive aggressive (male?)"

Passive aggressive people are very strong and not easily rattled.
But why pray would you wish to upset anyone on purpose?

That's a hard one to figure out. I say this because if you rattle someone like that they will not let you know. You can't really pin point something for these types. And when you unknowingly do they will defienitly do some sort of covert undercover retalitory attack against you. So be careful, direct, and upfront with an attack.

I always find it best to let them know that their comments or behavior matter very little unless it results in something positive. I do that not by saying what I just described, but by taking command of the situation or conversation simply by stating something that you want to talk about.

If they are trying to push my buttons, I change the subject with one comment and physically move away. If they follow you, go some place where they wouldn't want to follow. It is very important as well to not let your own thoughts and feelings go into the things you don't like about the person or remembering the negative past.

I would say just to take time to get to know that someone and eventually the aggressiveness will come out.I think people need to feel safe before they open up to another. Passive-Aggressive people want to be aggressive but are only aggressive when need to be or feel safe to emotionally to open up to other's.
