Open hand for coughing or yawning. Two open hands for a really good yawn. If both of my hands are full, I may cough into my shoulder. I don't mind spreading love, but I refuse to spread any germs!!

I actually cough in to the bend in my arm. When I yawn, I cover my mouth with an open hand.

I use a fist for coughing and nothing for yawning...there's no reason to cover your mouth when yawning because nothing's coming out except air! I still don't get why people do it.

Usually with an open hand and then I use Purell in case I have a cold if coughing, or when yawning I use the back of my hand. :)

Well, usually when I cough, I use the fist, but when I am coughing I use my open hand.

I have no idea why I use different gestures for each. I just do.
