I haven't been sick this whole pregnancy, I am 40 weeks with my 2nd, and last night I woke up with vomit in my mouth, then this morning it felt like I had to burp, and when I did I felt a little more vomit there. My stomach feels queasy, not real queasy but I can feel some upsetment. I know I am close to labor because I'm 40 weeks, I'm getting induced sun., but is this a sign labor may start on it's own? How soon for you?

I get that all the time. Mostly itsa lot of bile and not just vomit. Although I tend to wake up with it in my mouth, or burp up things i know i havent eaten in a couple days.

Its normal for where we are. Munching on some crackers when I wake up like that helps a lot.

Theres just no room for your stomach at this point. Epsecially when laying down shoves it further into the chest cavity.

The nausia is also normal, since morning sickness is related to hormones, and the levels change near the end of our pregnancies, you can be sicky all day and its okay. It will level out after delivery.

I had the same thing towards the end, felt sick when lying down or after a nite sleep. What helped: prop your body and sleep that way. I used two-three pillows (vertical and horizontal) and that seemed to help a lot. Do not eat heavy meals near sleeptime and Drink plenty of fluid after meals.

If your stomach complaints include anything of a gastrointestinal nature (like intestinal cramps, etc), then this could be a sign of impending labor. Otherwise, it does just sound like you are suffering a little indigestion - normal for a pregnancy.

Indigestion is not a sign of labour, its a sign of pressure on your stomach and excess gas. Take a tums
