The plan as I see it is to raise the bet,If your losing you you put more good money after bad,I never has worked before but what the heck.At lest Rummy is gone ,the generals all did not like him and Bush had to be forced to do it,like he was forced to do a lot of things (pig headed as he Is)but it's done. Now bush just wants to run out the clock. There is just one more thing he must do ,the war with Iran .That's all part of this surge as they call it,And those patriot missiles what do you think they are for???The only chance to end the war was to divide that place up,but now get ready for the next war,and don't believe the lie of who started it.

I don't think that even President Bush likes the plan. It's rather like throwing a pale of water onto a raging house fire. It isn't going to make a lot of difference.

I think he has the best advice possible. The plan to help the Iraqi people do the job on their own can only work if the insurgents are not causing death and destruction every day. Short of calling it quits and giving the Country to the enemy, what else could he have done?! Let's pray that this works so we can be done with it..which is what he wants, too. Therefore, yes, I like his plan for Iraq.

I don't like any plan this idiot has ever had. Never have! He should
appoint Congress to make the decision. His plans suck and he
has already killed enough of our people and Iraqs in the name of
liberation.

I have yet to hear a plan. Nor have I heard a goal. If it is to defeat terrorism then how does someone defeat an ideology? If it is to bring democracy to a country that doesn't want it then how can we force them. How vane we are to believe that everyone should live the way we do...

I like it because it is a positive change to what the generals wanted in the first place. Rumsfeld did not listen to them, so now they will get heard. If we had gone in with the large numbers of troops recommended in the beginning we would be done by now.

Escalation of the war against Iraq is the same as throwing money at a problem, except he is throwing bodies instead.

There are two (and only two) great supporters: Bush and Cheney. Others are not supporting because of the presence of something called sense.

I don't know anything about this plan, but I don't trust Bush as far as I could throw him!!!

Have you heard a better plan...they can't just leave..they need to get the job done over there and they need the man power....so yes I agree..send more troops in and get the job done...This way when they leave they will hopfully be leaving a country strong enough to stand on it's own.....Nobody likes it...I'd rather have my man home with me....cuddling or something...but this needs to be done...so get it done......
